After +2 or bachelors’ things can get confusing about what to do? Especially, if you do not have long terms plans or goals you want to achieve. The option that is available in Nepal after our degrees are there but not as tempting as going abroad. With the idea of independence, Freedom, lifestyle the option of going abroad is just too tempting. One going abroad usually means getting a university degree and supporting it with the part-time job and once you graduate from your university or college get a full-time high earning job just so you could afford the luxurious life you want or even a simple lifestyle of choice. If you feel this way, you might want to rethink the question asked first. Some of you might agree or some of must know much more aboard lifestyle but this is the most common ideology we have or what we want. There is no shame to think this way because even I had the same mentality and determination and it’s important to have so. But at the same time, we also need a reality check which we often miss with the excitement of coming here.

You may think, I am willing to go every end to make it happen or even think you might just end up becoming successful because of your seer determination. You may think I will start with small and eventually work my way up getting a part-time job as a waiter or bar back or even cleaner. But all these jobs are professional occupations, and we often forget some people dedicate full- time to this. Which often makes not just international students but the whole of Australia your competition.

Our country standing with 29 million people in 2017 had a literacy rate of 67% and people complain about not finding decent opportunities. Well, welcome to “AUSTRALIA THE LAND DOWNUNDER” with a population of 25 million and a 99% literacy rate, out of which still 6% of them are unemployed. This should give you a clear vision of how tough the competition is before you underestimate it. I know it sounds demotivating, but I am not trying to demotivate you to come here or go anywhere in the world, but just give a simple reality check about what it is out there.
